Built on 60+ Years of Transformer Heritage
Hartwerk Power is built on over 60 years of transformer manufacturing heritage rooted in Shaanxi Tongbian Electric — one of China's backbone transformer enterprises since 1960. The name 'Hartwerk' combines two German words: 'Hart' (strong, hard, resilient) and 'Werk' (works, factory). Together, they represent a factory of strength — a promise that every transformer leaving our facility is built for the harshest conditions on earth.
Today, our 100,000-square-metre factory in Shaanxi, China houses advanced vacuum-casting lines, CNC core-cutting systems, and a fully equipped in-house testing laboratory capable of simulating explosive atmospheres. With 150 million kVA of annual production capacity and a team of 180+ engineers — nearly half of our total workforce — we deliver certified safety where it matters most.
